What is a bang?
It is a collaborative event where a writer gets paired up with an artist. There is a minimum word count (differs from bang to bang) and usually has the writers submitting the summaries first, then the artists will choose a selection of summaries. Mods of the event will then factor in different things to come up with a team lineup.What is this bang about? What counts as a mosnter?
This bang aims to create a host of content surrounding our favourite characters from Haikyuu and any of the monsterfuckery they may get into! Find a list of what does and doesn't count as a monster below:
Monsters:
• Demons and devils
• Incubus and succubus
• Tentacle monsters
• Aliens
• Ghosts
• Any mythological creatures (werewolves, vampires, mermaids, sirens, kitsune, etc.)Not Monsters:
• Hybrids
• Animals/animal parts
• Standard omegaverse (meaning omegaverse with ONLY human characters; monsters existing in an omegaverse setting are permitted)What is the role of a Pinch Hitter and a Beta?
Pinch hitters will be asked to join teams in the event other creators drop out. Pinch hitters will be offered summaries on an as-needed basis, with no penalty for refusing to work on a summary you aren't interested in working on. Extensions and extra time for pinch hitters will be discussed as needed.
Betas serve as editors/proofreaders for teams that desire one. They will choose summaries they are interested in and work with their teams on an as-needed basis.What type of content is allowed?
All content is allowed with no restrictions.
Inside the server, anything on the squicks list that is not posted in the problematic channels MUST be spoiled and tagged appropriately. We don’t want to trigger anyone and want everyone to feel safe and comfortable in the spaces provided.Are we able to join with a pre-planned partner? Or will we only be matched randomly?
Yes you are able to join with a partner! On the sign-up form there will be a spot to indicate if you already have a partner planned. If not, you will be matched up based on the claims.
